Prime Big Deal Days: My Handpicked Favorites (and a Few I Hope Go on Sale!)

Tomorrow kicks off Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days—a 48-hour event for Prime members with limited-time discounts across home, kitchen, beauty, fashion, and more (think of it as an early, two-day mini–Prime Day to jump-start holiday shopping). Deals roll out in waves, some are “Lightning” offers with timers/quantity limits, and many include extra coupons you have to clip on the product page. You’ll need an active Prime membership to see the best prices, and discounts can change throughout the event.

If you are not a Prime member but you want to get their 30 days free trial, use this link. Beware that if you decide to not continue after the trial period you will need to actively cancel the subscription. In my opinion, nowadays being a Prime member is useful even if only for the free shipping. Of course, as a Prime member there are other benefits – Prime Membership Benefits.

Below I’m sharing products I don’t just like—I really like. I can’t promise every item will be included in the Prime Big Deal Days pricing, but I’ll be watching them closely for any price drops or coupon stackables during the 48-hour window. If something catches your eye, add it to your cart or wishlist now so it’s easy to check when the deal goes live.

If you haven’t seen these clever finds before, I’m happy to be the one introducing them to you! They’re not sewing-related (for once!), but they’re so practical and fun that I couldn’t resist sharing.

If you’re in the mood for something sew-specific, I’ve also rounded up a list of budget-friendly tools that make sewing easier — check out my post 21 Sewing Tools Under $20 That Solve Everyday Sewing Problems Without Breaking the Bank. Now, let’s look at the non-sewing products I really love — the kind that make everyday life a little simpler, cozier, or just plain better.

#1. Rechargeable Long-Neck Lighter

An extra-long, flameless arc lets you reach deep jar candles without singed fingers or messy butane. USB-rechargeable, wind-resistant, and great for candles, grills, and hard-to-reach wicks.

I plan to buy this; I hope to use them to light the anti-mosquito torches (very useful!), my husband wants them to light his fire pit grill (difficult to reach deep in the wood pile), and yes, sometimes when the power fails – for candles.

And if you are going to say “but you live in Florida!”; yes, but I have family and friends up North, and even in SW Florida we have sometimes temperatures close to freezing (I mean, 50 Fahrenheit / 10 Celsius).
